Jinshan District plans to set up a memorial hall to mark Nanshe - a literary association - in the former residence of Yao Shizi, a member of the association. Poetry belonging to the Nanshe will be displayed in the hall. Construction work will begin next month. Nanshe was founded in 1909 in Zhangyan Town.
Fengxian
Fengxian District's Old People University was recently built in the district's recreational center. With a total investment of about 2.5 million yuan, the 1,200-square-meter school has ten classrooms and a 300-square-meter exhibition hall. The school offers 16 courses including English, Chinese painting and calligraphy. About 815 elderly people have enrolled so far.
