A family fashion show was held last Sunday in Minhang district's Hongqiao Town to improve cultural exchange between Chinese residents and expats in the district. More than 100 families from Jiangxi Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Taiwan Province and Japan, together with their Chinese counterparts, participated. The environmentally-friendly show featured clothes made out of plastic bags and newspaper and jewelry crafted from old CDs and used straws.
