To expand cooperation in education, headmasters from both domestic and foreign schools in the Minhang District gathered at a party to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. There are 11 foreign schools from seven countries across the district, with about 1,000 foreign teachers and 7,000 foreign students. Zhang Chen, Minhang's vice head, said the influx of foreign companies into the district has created vast opportunities for educational development as well as boosting the economy.
