The nanhui District government reported that its contracted foreign investment from 85 approved projects amounted to US$444.25 million in the first seven months of this year, an increase of 18 percent from a year earlier. Meanwhile, the total taxation paid by the district's enterprises reached US$276.85 million, up 44.1 percent from last year.
