Through September, the Nanhui district's Food and Drug Administration is carrying out spot checks to ensure measures are taken to prevent and control the spread of disease. Officials said they were paying special attention to the inspection of supermarkets, farmer's markets, restaurants, hotels and dining halls in schools and companies to ensure fresh food is served every day. If the result is found to be below standard, the concerned departments will be punished and fined.
