A sports meeting concluded last week at Nanhui district's sports center. More than 3,000 villagers from 14 towns participated in the meet. The events included table tennis, basketball and gymnastics. A district official said the hosting of such sporting events aimed to promote a nationwide physical fitness campaign and to enrich the villagers' daily life.
