The us retail giant Wal-Mart is expected to open its first outlet in Shanghai by the end of next month. The newly built store covers 17,996 square meters and finished construction at the end of last month. Wal-Mart entered the Chinese market in 1996 and it now operates 45 stores in 21 cities.
