A beach volleyball competition will be held under the foot of the New Oriental Pearl TV Tower from August 16 to 19. More than 300 tons of sand will be carried by more than 10 trucks to the match court and platforms will be set up to hold 600 to 800 spectators. After the volleyball competition is over, all of the sand will be used for building houses.
