A solid waste processing project in Pudong New Area was recently nominated by the State Ministry of Construction for entry into the "Dubai International Best Practice to Improve the Living Environment of the United Nations" contest. The result will be made known in September. It is predicted that the district will become the most fitting place to live in Pudong District by 2010.
