The Pudong branch of the Aluminum Company of America donated US$3,000 to the district's retarded school recently. As one of the biggest charity associations in the world, the company regularly cooperates with local schools and companies. Earlier this year, it established a Chinese Environmental Protection Foundation with the China Journalists Association. A company official said there would be more cooperation in future.
