The People's Liberation Army is currently carrying out its annual recruitment drive through September 15. On the campaign's opening day, August 15, the registration office and several other district government branches held a promotion at Nextage Shopping Center. Army recruiters checked out prospective candidates physical attributes and political backgrounds. Recruits must be a minimum of 18 and are required to enlist for at least two years.
