To date, 10 multinational bio-pharmaceutical companies have set up their global research and development centers in Shanghai Bio-pharmaceutical Industrial Base, located in the Zhangjiang High Technology Park in Pudong. From January to October, the total output value of the bio-pharmaceutical industry of the base reached 3.03 billion yuan (US$365.06 million).
