A sedan fell into the Huangpu River near the Mishidu Ferry Station in Songjiang District yesterday morning, and two people died in the accident. Due to the fast speed and improper operation when making a turn, the car, driven by a man surnamed Xu, rushed into the river around 10am. Two passengers escaped from the car window, while Xu and another passenger were found drowned after local police salvaged the car.
