Xuhui District police have remanded three suspects who allegedly assaulted and abused two officers.
A female suspect named Yu Fang was allegedly stopped by a traffic policeman, surnamed Xu, after attempting to run through a red light on Yishan Road on Monday afternoon. Yu insulted the police officer and called two of her friends who continued the attack after they arrived. Xu reportedly suffered several facial injuries and his colleague, surnamed Zheng, was allegedly bitten by Yu on the arm.
