Shanghai Fisheries University has teamed up with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coastwatch to set up a China-US Joint Center for Ocean Remote Sensing and Living Marine Resources Management. University officials said earlier this week that the center will be a bridge between China and the NOAA to develop new satellite sensing information products, promote bilateral communications as well as holding an academic forum annually.
