Yangpu District has attracted 494 enterprises in the first two months of this year, with combined registered capital of 1.05 billion yuan (US$126.51 million). Nearly 10 foreign investment projects were set up, bringing in US$6.14 million. The number of companies with registered capital exceeding 5 million yuan reached 59 during the period.
