With the help of the Zhabei district's birth-control committee, Pengpu Neighborhood Committee has started its first babysitter training course. More than 40 unemployed women under the age of 45 applied for the course which is taught by experienced babysitting experts. The women receive lectures on the daily care of infants and how to protect them from common disease, among others issues. After the course, the students will receive a certificate which will help them to find a job locally.
