As December 1 marked the Anti-AIDS Day, a series of anti-AIDS activities were conducted last week. More than 2,000 volunteers distributed about 20,000 condoms and thousands of brochures to locals and migrant workers at railway stations and long-distance bus stations. In addition, lectures on AIDS prevention were held in the district's schools, factories and communities to promote awareness of the disease.
