A woman buys flowers in Sydney where retail sales were reported to have risen
0.7 percent in May to a seasonally adjusted A$20.240 billion (US$19.5 billion),
the Australian Bureau of Statistics said. Increased spending suggests households
are weathering the highest interest rates in 12 years and record gasoline
