Shanghai Party Secretary Yu Zhengsheng yesterday met Dr. Werner M¨¹ller,
chairman of Germany-based Evonik Industries Group.
Yu said Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is one of the nation¡¯s most
remarkable chemical industry zones due to its environmental protection measures.
Yu invited Evonik Industries to further invest in Shanghai and extended the
city¡¯s willingness to help solve possible difficulties it may encounter during
development.
Dr. M¨¹ller appreciated the city¡¯s support and said the firm would seek new
investment opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation.
