13/10/2008 17:01

More people in New Zealand now think the economy is going to get worse, according to a new poll released today.
The One News Colmar Brunton poll of 1,000 people covers the period from Oct. 4 to Oct. 9.
It showed 42 percent think that during the next 12 months the economy will be worse than it is at present, up from 38 percent three months ago.
However, 38 percent believe the economy will improve over the next year, compared to 44 percent expressing optimism three months ago.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
