China's official Xinhua News Agency is to launch a financial information
collection station in Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), Asia's largest bourse in terms
of volume of trading, to better provide global subscribers with data and market
news.
Xinhua and TSE signed the contract of cooperation in Tokyo yesterday.
According to the agreement, Xinhua will dispatch full-time journalist to station
in TSE, collecting and publishing prompt and first-hand information and release
them in the forms of audio, graphic, text news and multimedia news.
The two sides hoped the cooperation will enhance China and Japan's
cooperation in financial information sector.
Xinhua has established such information collection station in major markets
including New York, Chicago, Shanghai, and etc.
Through the platform "Xinhua 08", a comprehensive financial information
service system independently developed by Xinhua, the news agency aims to serve
management departments, financial institutions and enterprises with real-time
market quotations, data, research tools and analysis.
