Two-way trade between Vietnam, China exceed US$17 billion in ten months

Turnover from import and export trading between Vietnam and China reached
US$17 billion in the first ten months of 2008, an increase of 43.4 percent over
the same period of 2007, according to the website of Vietnam Trade Information
Center under the Ministry of Industry and Trade today. Vietnam's exports to
China collected a ten-month turnover of about US$four billion and its imports
from China saw the turnover of more than US$13 billion, said the
center. Vietnam's major export items to China are rubber, coal, crude oil and
main items imported from China include various kinds of steel, clothing,
fertilizers and chemical substances, said the center.
