US-based Fedex Corp, the world's leading express service provider, established a new branch in Ningbo, the biggest port city in Zhejiang Province, as it stepped up expansion in the Yangtze Delta region. The branch is capable of handling 1,200 items per hour. Fedex said it plans to open a second branch in the province in Hangzhou, the capital, in the later part of this year.
