Belgian brewer InBev S.A. said yesterday it has acquired the remaining 30 percent interest in Zhejiang K.K. Breweries. InBev acquired a 70 percent in K.K. brewing activities in April 2003. The total cost of the acquisition is US$61.5 million. K.K. Breweries holds an 80 percent market share in the city of Ningbo, Jiangsu Province. It has a capacity of 3 million hektoliters and produced 2.7 million hektoliters last year.
