Community Center Shanghai, an organization helping to build links among expatriates living in the city, has arranged a tour to Hangzhou, capital of neighboring Zhejiang Province, on November 20.
Hangzhou is one of the important tourism destinations in China, famous for its natural beauty as well as its historical and cultural heritage.
According to the itinerary, you will gather at Community Center Shanghai at 8am, and then depart for Hangzhou, where the first stop is the Xixi National Wetlands Park.
In the afternoon, there's the Yellow Dragon Cave and on to a Shaoxing Opera performance - the folk opera of Zhejiang Province. The Yellow Dragon Cave is also one of the top-10 new scenes around famous West Lake and visitors can not only enjoy scenery but also listen to local folklore which will help understanding about yuan - destiny or fate in Chinese.
After dinner, visitors can choose between returning to Shanghai at 7pm or staying overnight at the Lakeside Wanghu Hotel.
