The local consumer protection commission has established an alliance with its counterparts in neighboring Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces to deal with the increasing consumer complaints between the three jurisdictions. Under the alliance, local consumers can complain directly to consumer right's organizations in another city covered by the deal without going to its office in his home city. The organization is obliged to decide whether to receive the complaint within a week, and then offer a proper solution within six months.
