Angelina Jolie struggles with sleep since twins born
13/10/2008 10:06

Angelina Jolie has splashed out US$65,000 on a horsehair mattress. The "Changeling" actress has reportedly been struggling to sleep since her twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were born in July and decided to invest in the expensive handmade bedding.

A source said: "Angelina is hoping she can rest better now she has bought a brand new horsehair mattress. The incredible Vividus bed was made entirely by hand in Sweden. It took roughly 150 hours to make and cost a whopping US$65,000!"

As well as the twins, Angelina raises three adopted children with Brad Pitt - seven-year-old son Maddox, four-year-old son Pax and daughter Zahara, three.

The couple also have a two-year-old biological daughter, Shiloh. Angelina recently revealed she has grown as a person since becoming a mother.

She said: "I love being a mom. It's my favorite thing to do. It's the most fun and challenging thing I have ever done, and I've learnt a lot about myself along the way. "I have become more patient, for a start. And my kids have really made me a woman - I just didn't know I had this softness before, this nurturing side.

Also, they remind me to be silly. We play and I laugh with them. So they have taught me to be a woman, but also reminded me to be a little kid, and that's amazing."
