Jessica Simpson is "actively trying" for a baby.
The singer-and-actress is reportedly desperate to start a family with her
American football star boyfriend Tony Romo after her younger sister Ashlee gave
birth to her first child, son Bronx Mowgli, last month.
A source told gossip blogger Perez Hilton: "I wouldn't be surprised if
Jessica makes an announcement that she's pregnant very, very soon."
Meanwhile, the "Come On Over" singer has revealed that the festive period has
made her become more domesticated.
She said: "My personality is now more stay-at-home - right now I'm doing the
Christmas tree and everything. I'm in Dallas and its fun, Tony hasn't had
Christmas in seven years because they have football every Christmas and he can't
go home. So I'm bringing Christmas to him this year.
"Believe it or not, I like to bake pies. Tony's favorite is pumpkin pie and I
haven't mastered that yet. Maybe I'm more of a baker - I like to make cakes,
more fattening."
Jessica recently spoke of her delight at becoming an aunt following the birth
of Bronx, Ashlee's son with husband Pete Wentz.
She said: "Bronx is beyond precious. I'm over the moon with joy. Life is a
beautiful miracle. Ashlee and Pete are healthy, happy, and enjoying every
moment."
