The first edition of Francophone Humor Festival will be held in Marrakech
from May 8 to May 12, with the participation of comedians from France,
Switzerland, Belgium, Canada and Morocco, local press reported yesterday.
This artistic event is being organized within the framework of efforts aimed
at promoting creative art in Marrakech and enhancing the city's cultural and
artistic awareness through an event bringing together a taste of humor from
different parts of the world.
The event is also aimed at promoting Morocco as a tourist destination in
general and the city of Marrakech in particular.
This artistic meeting is also an opportunity to discover budding talent from
different origins and backgrounds, as much from Morocco as well as from other
French speaking countries taking part in the event.
