Taiwan pop singer inaugurates library for blind children
4/1/2008 10:34

Taiwan pop singer and actor Richie Ren attended the opening ceremony of a library for visually impaired children in Taiwan on Wednesday, Hong Kong-based publication Tungstar reported.

As the spokesman for the library project, Ren also prepared a gift for the children, a storytelling session in which he challenged his vocal abilities by impersonating different characters simultaneously.

The library, which officially opened on January 2, 2008, offers blind-free reading rooms and books targeted at children ages three to twelve.
