Actor and singer Leo Ku attended a HIV/AIDS prevention event in Hong Kong on Friday to raise awareness of the disease among young people.

But both the 36-year-old and his fans received a surprise when event organizers announced that Ku's photo would appear on packages of condoms, according to the entertainment channel of the popular online website "qq.com".

He said he hoped young people could gain a correct understanding about AIDS in primary school, which they did not have when he was young.
