Chinese director Chen Kaige arrived in South Korean capital Seoul on Friday to be filmed in an advertisement for the city.

China's portal website Sina reported yesterday that during his three-day stay in Seoul, the famed director will be filmed in the advertisement at several places of interest for the video.

The advertisement will present artistic as well as cultural aspects of the city through a foreign director's eyes, and will be released on several TV channels in China in mid-June.
