Taiwan pop singer Jeff Chang has kept himself busy preparing for his first musical comedy, which he hopes can be staged around Asian countries late next year, according to the website sina.com.cn.

Jeff Chang Shin-Che explains that he can't be with his mom on Mother's Day but he is trying to honor his mother in a special way with his musical comedy.

Four years ago, the singer's mother was admitted to the hospital for cancer, which alerted Jeff Chang to regulate his family's diet and lifestyle.

Jeff Chang also gives a 1.5 carat diamond for his mom as a birthday present each year, hoping to put them together as a diamond necklace one day.
