Ronnie Wood's wife Jo has vowed to fight to save their marriage. Jo and
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie met separately with solicitors last week,
fuelling rumors they are headed for a divorce after Ronnie ran off with
20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanona in July.
But Jo, 53, insists she will do everything she can to keep Ronnie, who she
has been married to for 23 years. Jo told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I don't
want to divorce Ronnie but I don't know if he'll come back. I really don't know
what is happening at the moment. I haven't spoken to him about it."
Ronnie, 61, has been romancing Ekaterina since leaving rehab in September,
and is even said to be planning to take her on tour with him when he reunites
with his old band the Faces, scheduled for next year.
A source close to Jo said: "Jo still hopes there is some way they can sort
things out. She loves him deeply and this is tearing her apart. But she is not
stupid, she realizes there is no future for them while he is seeing Ekaterina."
While in rehab Ronnie was reported as saying: "I love my wife - but I have a
girlfriend and I love her too." Ronnie - believed to be worth 40 million - met
with top London lawyers last week, the same company consulted by his Rolling
Stones bandmate Sir Mick Jagger in his divorce from Jerry Hall.
