Dozens of electric buses were stranded yesterday morning after a truck damaged overhead wires at the intersection of Zhoujiazui and Neijiang roads around 6:40am.
The truck's cargo was piled too high, resulting in damage to the wires, traffic police officials said. Although power was restored by 8:30am, the accident caused a severe traffic jam that lasted more than three hours.
