Wang Wenwen, an 8-year-old girl from Jiangsu Province who was abandoned at birth, is receiving treatment for kidney cancer at Shanghai hospitals, thanks to her adoptive parents, Shanghai Daily reported.

The couple has spent their life savings and gone into debt to pay the child's 200,000 yuan (US$29,322) worth of medical bills.
