A Chinese man, traveling on a fake Turkish passport, has immigration authorities in a spin. The man took a taxi from Guangzhou Province to Shanghai in early September but refused to pay more than 2,000 yuan (US$293) to the driver, Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration officials said yesterday.

The man, who has since disappeared, also holds Russian, Turkish and German passports. He is said to have worked in nightclubs in Guangzhou Province.
