A worker was killed and another seriously injured in an accident at the construction site of the southern part of the Bund Tunnel in Shanghai yesterday, Shanghai Daily reported.

Two pipes, with a diameter of about 60 centimeters, fell from a height of 1.5 meters about 11am.
