Shanghai Higher People's Court will reopen the trial of Yang Jia today after he appealed his death sentence for a deadly stabbing spree in a local police station in July, Eastday.com reported yesterday.

The trial of the 28-year-old jobless man from Beijing is due to start at 9:30am, the report said.
