It's all systems go for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo Performing Arts Center, with basketball expected to eventually hold center court.

The Shanghai Oriental Pearl Group, the United States AEG Corporation and NBA China yesterday formally set up a joint venture to operate the center, which will hold most of the performances during the World Expo.
