A 27-year-old worker was killed by an electric shock at Shanghai Hubang Printing & Dyeing Co Ltd in Pudong New Area yesterday morning.

The worker, an Anhui Province native surnamed Jiang, was installing a lightning rod on the roof of the company's factory, when he came in contact with a high-voltage line, his colleagues said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
