A deputy director in Shanghai's Luwan District government reportedly went missing on a business trip to Paris, and authorities in the French capital are now trying to find him, Shanghai Daily reported.

Xin Weiming has been missing for about two weeks, a subdistrict official, who declined to be identified, told Shanghai Daily.
