Major construction on the new Pudong ramp to the Lupu Bridge was completed yesterday with the addition of the last 60-ton girder, according to the project operator.

The construction project will extend road connections into World Expo areas in Pudong from the bridge and is also expected to relieve traffic pressure during the 2010 event.
