Ten people had to be hospitalized for poisoning after a gas pipeline near a Metro construction site on Zhennan Road in Putuo District was damaged yesterday, Shanghai Daily reported.

Six residents, including a pregnant woman and four Metro workers, suffered dizziness and nausea but recovered later.
