Construction began yesterday on France's Rhone-Alpes region pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo site including its Urban Best Practice Plan presentation for the 2010 event.

Two cases from the region have been selected to go on display in the Urban Best Practices Area, focussing on environmental protection and energy-efficient illumination systems.
