Qingpu District prosecutors yesterday arrested a man for murdering his wife after she asked for a divorce.

The man, Sun Binggang, 34, is an Anhui Province native. Prosecutors said he may not have to bear full criminal liability for his actions as a judicial expertise center had certified him as suffering from depression. However, he has been ruled fit to stand trial.
