The Pudong New Area Administration of Work Safety is investigating the cause of a construction site accident that killed a woman.

The 40-year-old woman, surnamed Li, died when she was buried under a mound of earth, which was being moved by a mechanical digger, according to Xinmin Evening News. The accident happened at 1 Pudong Road S., about 2:30pm on Friday.
