One person was killed and two were injured in separate road accidents yesterday. Around 9 am, a container truck knocked down a moped rider at the Jungong Road-Songjun Road crossing, killing him.

His identity was not released. Around the same time, a taxi collided with a moped near the intersection of Yan'an Road W. and Wulumuqi Road. One person suffered a broken jaw and bruises, while the other had head injuries.
