When Tong Jiadi, a local accountant, went to book her wedding banquet with her fiance, the hotel told her that she may have to wait until 2010 if she didn't want to hold her wedding on a scorching or a chilly day, Shanghai Daily reported.

"I thought it's not too late to book a hall for next October, but apparently I was wrong," said the 29-year-old.
